I believe in patient centered care, treating each patient with a unique treatment plan created especially for them. I believe in shared decision making when it comes to developing a treatment plan. This means educating the patient about their condition, discussing treatment options, and helping to empower the patient to make a decision that is right for them. I believe everyone should be treated with respect and should not feel pressured to rush into a treatment, including surgery, without careful consideration. I grew up around the area I practice and I am grateful I get to serve this community to the best of my ability.

“I absolutely love her!! She helped me so much through being scared and she’s very kind! I am absolutely sickly terrified of needles and she helped me through removing a cyst on my toe which actually took 4-5 needles and through being nauseous and everything else she made the experience something that was so much more then bearable to me! I would recommend her to anyone and I deeply appreciate how she helped me and treated me! Thank you so much for helping me through it!”

“I was recently treated for a foot injury by Dr. Jamie Matteo at A Caring Podiatrist. I don’t know where to begin complimenting her on her medical knowledge, diagnostic abilities, and her very warm (and funny) bedside manner. Through a series of motion studies, asking me questions, and a thorough examination of the injured foot, she put me on a treatment course that is already showing signs of improvement to the injury. So with this very positive experience I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Matteo for your podiatry needs. All of that said, I also need to compliment her staff. “Marie” in the front office did a magnificent job scheduling my appointment. I’m a US military retiree visiting town from Arizona, and Marie managed all of the referral details between my doctor in Arizona and TriCare.
